Mostar, Bosna i Hercegovina. Training workshop “Biodiversity of the Neretva River” was held on 30 June 2021 at the Hotel Mostar, as part of the project “Explore Cross-Border Aquatic Biodiversity – EXChAngE”.

The tour operators and tour guides are gathered to be introduced by the project team and experts with diversity of aquatic life in the river Neretva. Dr. Anita Dedić, Dr. Anđelka Lasić, and Dr. Jerko Pavličević presented biological features of the River Neretva watershed, flora and fauna of the River Neretva, as well as fish diversity and its importance for angling, scientific tourism, and domestic fish gastronomic offer.

This training workshop contributed to the diversification of touristic presentation in the cross-border region Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
